It just makes me wonder because, as a sort of thought experiment, I want to try to configure an SKS to accept 10rnd detachable box magazines made for this one “pistol” chambered in 7.62x39 (I can’t remember the name). Thinking about an SKS, and noticed that REDACTED has Yugo M59/66 back in stock. Based on pics and reviews, these are usually pretty good quality. Lightly used, well stored millsurp. Nothing is if your killing yotes. SKS is a fantastic yote buster. Like other posters have mentioned, the 7.62x39 will drop a coyote with no issues. I’m not sure how well the SKS is suited to coyote hunting though. I wouldn’t use it if you will be hunting over a large field or on a power line.
